Flag Football Photos

Back in May, we signed Teagen & Penelope up to play flag football. They were put on the same team (the Vikings) and Brett was helping coach. After the first two games, we chose to pull them off the team.Safety was not being put first- what we thought was a no contact sport was a highly competitive violent game. The teams our kids played against were seriously aggressive! At the first game, one of the other team actually bit a boy on the Vikings and he wasn't even pulled from the game!

In spite of everything, the kids had some very positive experiences. Penelope did exactly what she learned at practices and stayed very focused. Teagen did great too. He LOVES football!! He played with all his heart, was quarterback more than a few times & threw a winning touchdown.



















I think we all learned to appreciate good sportsmanship. We are very proud of them both!
