Flower Power Challenge

Our family spent this weekend up to our ears in Trail's End popcorn! It's Popcorn Site Sales Season and in spite of the triple digit heat (and minimal shade at the site sales) Teagen and Bradley have worked very hard selling popcorn to earn money for their scouting activities. If you need any popcorn, please let me know- my boys would be happy to sell you some!

On this beautiful Labor Day Monday, it's time for a new challenge at Lexi's Creations! Our challenge is FLOWER POWER and our sponsor is the fabulous Joanna Sheen:

My project is a recycled tag. This is what it started as:

You can't tell from the picture but this tag is thick enough to be a coaster. I have been saving it for awhile waiting for the right project... and this is how it looks now:

I colored Lexi's adorable Baby Bugs Flower with my pencils:

I also used some Basic grey paper, Alpha Stickers,Stampin Up Ribbon, My white Uniball, yellow thread, a button and polka dotted paper from my stash.

It's now ready to be tied on a gift bag and given away!
