Vegetable Cake

A few weeks ago it was Grandpa John's Birthday. He loves brussel sprouts & spinach and broccoli so it made sense that he requested a birthday cake made from veggies. He told the kids that Grandma would make him a vegetable birthday cake (and I don't think they believed him). On his birthday, when dessert time came this is the cake that was presented:

Yep, that is a cake of mashed potatoes decorated with brussel sprouts, spinach and broccoli. The kids were suprised and horrified.

It was sooooo funny! Here is Grandpa with his real birthday cake- he couldn't stop laughing.
