Altered box (RRR)

Earlier this week, my friend Ell gave me an assortment of these adorable wooden boxes. When I brought them home, I made this one is for Bradley:

and a close up of the layers of chipboard.

I used my new Carolee's Creations paper,Basic Grey paper, Stampin Up Chipboard, my new Sizzix fleur-de-lis die, Unity Stamps, ink, mod podge & embossing powder. It also meets the Sisterhood of scrap's Monday challenge to use a handmade embellishment. I made the fleur-de-lis using cardboard by die cutting an empty box and laying the Carolee's paper on top of it. It's already in Bradley's room holding some of his Cub Scout momentos.
